Relax in this unspoiled, natural mountain setting nestled between Fort Mountain State Park and beautiful Carters Lake in the Georgia mountains, just 90 miles north of Atlanta and 50 miles southeast of Chattanooga.

Enjoy a pleasant picnic at our spectacular waterfall, stroll along the nature trails at Sugar Creek, or hike to the top of the summit to view the Chattahoochee National Forest. Our hiking trails are safe and quiet and each location is less than a mile hike from the lodge. You may also enjoy socializing with the others guest or relaxing by yourselves in one of the many quiet areas of the lodge.

The Hearthstone Lodge is a smoke-free environment for adult guests over 21. We do not allow pets; however there are excellent accommodations nearby for your pet's enjoyment. Our rates include a full gourmet breakfast, light refreshments at 5 PM, and a light dessert after dinner. If you wish to schedule a massage in our private spa please call for an appointment.
